The Electric Sheep placer claim is located approximately 31 kilometres from Boston Bar, British Columbia, in a historic section of the Fraser River goldfields. Access is straightforward via Highway 1 to a parking area, followed by a constructed trail that provides convenient access to the claim and its prospecting areas.
The Fraser Canyon is one of British Columbia’s most famous gold producing regions. The Fraser River Gold Rush of 1858 brought thousands of miners to the area, and many of the tributary creeks and benches surrounding Boston Bar continue to attract prospectors today. The region remains well known for producing fine placer gold and occasional coarse gold from favorable bedrock traps.
Recent exploration has included the construction of a trail to improve access throughout the property, along with systematic test pitting and hand sampling. Multiple test pits were completed across the claim, with gold recovered from every test site, confirming the presence of placer gold and highlighting the property’s continued exploration potential.
With excellent access, established infrastructure, and a location within one of British Columbia’s premier historic placer districts, the Electric Sheep claim is well suited for recreational prospectors, weekend miners, or anyone looking to continue exploring a proven gold bearing area.
